ACCENT Farmington Customer Contact Center
Unveiled: Hiring Gathers Steam.
Farmington,
MO (March 14, 2006) – ACCENT Marketing Services officially opens its
state-of-the-art inbound contact center in the Farmington Industrial Park, 1828
Landrum Drive. The Farmington center is ACCENT’s second facility in Missouri
and tenth customer care center globally.
The new center is expected to create 450 new jobs in Farmington, Missouri, when
at full capacity in late 2006. ACCENT has already hired more than 300
employees. The company will hold an on-site job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on
Friday, March 17, 2006, in partnership with Workforce Employment Solutions, to
fill the remaining positions. In total, ACCENT will employ more than 700
workers between its two centers in Kansas City and Farmington.
“The Farmington community presents a wealth of talent and hard workers, and
they have welcomed us with open arms,” said Kevin Foley, president of ACCENT.
“Farmington is exactly the type of community we were looking for when we
decided to build our seventh domestic customer care center.”
The 33,750 square-foot building previously was the Farmington Industrial
Development Authority’s Center for Industry, or “incubator” building. ACCENT
invested significant capital and human resources to completely renovate the
facility, incorporating conference and training rooms, a 40-seat Learning Lab,
and a 324 seat production floor.
“In just 90 days, we were able to retrofit and rewire the entire facility,
equipping it with the latest in telecommunications technology, equipment, and
work stations,” said Foley. “We couldn’t have done that without the support of
key individuals and their respective organizations including the Missouri
Cabinet for Economic Development, the City of Farmington, and the Farmington
Industrial Development Association.”
