ACCENT To Locate New Contact Center Facility in
Hot Springs, Arkansas 450 High-Quality Jobs To Be Created.
Jeffersonville,
IN (June 20, 2006) – ACCENT Marketing Services LLC today announced the
selection of Hot Springs, Arkansas, as the site for its 12th inbound contact
center. Under the proposed plan, ACCENT will lease a 38,750-square-foot
facility located in the Mowery Wyatt Plaza, creating 450 new jobs with an
annual payroll of more than $7.4 million.
The 350-seat contact center will provide inbound customer service support for
the subsidiary of a Fortune 100 telecommunications provider. Positions will
include customer service and quality representatives, trainers and managers
with attractive pay ranges based on experience and position. ACCENT expects to
begin operations in August 2006, phasing in new hires over the next four to
eight months. The expansion will bring ACCENT’s total workforce, in all
locations, to more than 2,800 employees by the end of the year.
“We believe the labor force in Hot Springs is a perfect match to support the
diverse demographic audience of one of the nation’s fastest growing wireless
services, said Kevin Foley, president of ACCENT. “We couldn’t be more pleased
with our decision to join this great community.”
“We welcome ACCENT to Arkansas,” said Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee. “This type
of company is a great addition to the industry mix in Hot Springs, and we know
it will find that Arkansas workers are capable and conscientious.”
The decision by ACCENT to select Hot Springs was made easier by the involvement
of several key individuals and their respective organizations including the
Garland County Economic Development Corporation and the Arkansas Department of
Economic Development. Additionally, the community’s desire for economic growth,
coupled with the quality, education level, and size of its labor pool all
played major roles in ACCENT’s decision to locate in Garland County.
“GCEDC has been excited about this project since we were first approached last
fall. One of GCEDC’s missions is to create quality jobs provided by first-class
companies, such as ACCENT. GCEDC is dedicated to improving the economic health
of the community and are confident that ACCENT will be a fantastic addition to
our community,” said Dave Byerly, president/CEO of GCEDC.
“ACCENT is a fast-growing company that’s locating in one of the fastest-growing
cities in Arkansas,” said Larry Walther, director of the Arkansas Department of
Economic Development. “This is a good decision for both the company and the
community.”
To assist in the hiring process, ACCENT has partnered with Staffmark, the
largest staffing company in Arkansas. Staffmark will conduct all recruiting
and screening of applicants based on established requirements for skills and
experience. The company will also ensure that all candidates are a good match
with ACCENT’s corporate culture. Employees will be selected and hired directly
by ACCENT.
Staffmark will conduct job fairs on behalf of ACCENT at the Hot Springs
Convention Center on Tuesday, July 11, 2006, and again on Thursday, July 20,
2006, at National Park Community College. Questions in reference to the job
fairs and position qualifications may be directed to Staffmark at (501)
